On a hot Florentine night, after witnessing a lovers quarrel on the street, we stopped at Gelateria dei Neri. The place was crowded so I took that as a sign that it was going to be good.
My niece and sister in law were still on their Granita kick but I knew my girls wouldn’t fail me on having more gelato. When it comes to flavors, they like it simple and pure. Pistacchio is usually the most requested.
I can’t even remember what I had but it was delicious.
I noticed that the space was small but there are a few table to sit at. I watched as others ate their gelati fairly quickly so the wait for tables isn’t long at all.
This seems to be a hit with the locals and they were the majority that night. I highly recommend a stop at Gelateria dei Neri.
