Next up on my Florence recap, is another Gelateria I heard a lot about. On our last night in Florence we found ourselves crossing the Arno for dinner. Before going back we decided to get our gelato at Gelateria della Passera.
It’s a tiny little shop located in Piazza della Passera so don’t let that fool you. From the photo above, you can see how small it is and really there’s not much room in there except for the person ordering. There aren’t many flavors to choose from and sometimes that’s the best sign of knowing that you’re about to get something very special.
I knew exactly what I wanted when I saw Cioccolato all’Arancia. Miss V saw the ACE and wanted to try that one and boy was she happy. I was surprised at how good it was. I love ACE juice so to have a flavor authentically come through in gelato form was amazing.
We sat in the piazza sampling each other’s flavors and enjoying our last night. I highly recommend stopping by. Any flavor you get is going to be ‘The best’. I guarantee it!
