Alberto Marchetti. When one hears this name they think of only one thing. GELATO. Year after year, Alberto Marchetti continues to appear on everyone’s “Top Gelateria” lists. One try and it’s easy to see why. His flavors are classic and yet innovative; only using the freshest and highest quality of ingredients.
I remember the first time I tasted their gelato. It was 2011 and I had participated in Stra Gelato, Turin’s gelato marathon. I had never had a gelato made with any kind of bean (except for chocolate- obviously) and it was probably the best I had ever tasted.. at the time.
There are three locations to enjoy this delicious treat. I usually prefer going to the location on Via Po. It’s bigger and has more seating space. It also has a small corner with toys for the little ones.
Whenever the husband and I go out on our dates, this is usually our after dinner spot. My favorite flavor: Croccante di Nocciole. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.
