SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY: Psalms 95: 6-7
ACTIVITY OF THE DAY: See a Nativity
SONG OF THE DAY: It must have been Ol’ Santa Claus by Harry Connick Jr. This bring back major memories. Back in the day, I was in Marching band and my directors were HUGE Jazz enthusiasts. Any day that we weren’t practicing for concerts or competition we’d sit around the band hall and 9 times out of 10.. we’d be listening to a Jazz album. Christmas time was not the same unless Harry Connick Jr was on. I don’t remember much from High School, but when I hear this song, I am taken back to those days sitting with my friend. After graduation, the very first “christmas gift” I bought myself with my own money (cause I was a working’ gal) was this Christmas CD. Still a favorite!
