SONG OF THE DAY: Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee. THIS SONG! How I love this song. My mom has the record.. as in LP aka vinyl! So it’s all crackling and popping and I love it. Every year, I would put on Brenda Lee’s album and decorate our Christmas tree. It was my thing. When I moved out I continued on. Now that I’m away from my parent’s home, it feels weird when I see their tree and it’s not decorated… my way! My girls haven’t exactly embraced Brenda Lee yet.. but we’ll get there.
