After my month long hiatus from running I was ready to get back into the swing of things. I would have 2 girls in school soon and I would just have one little monkey at home. Going back to my running routine would be easy but I really needed the motivation and by that I mean the right kind of music.
I sat through my music library and scrolled through every song I have and tried to figure out if it was fast enough to get me moving. I also went through Pinterest and looked at a lot of running list. Most of them included the same songs that were all very much popular right now. A few were targeted at warm ups/cool downs/ or era music. Hits of the 90’s, Power ballads of the 80’s etc..
I also took a look at iTunes to check out the top songs. After a couple of weeks, I got my list together and took it out for a spin. So far I have loved my playlist. It has pushed me at all the right moments and I’ve caught myself trying to sing and dance while running!
I have a mix of everything and hopefully something you’ll like to add to your own playlist.
